MY APPROACH

I'm curious, authentic, and adaptable. I believe lasting change comes from understanding the deeper patterns that drive our behavior.

My Philosophy

Sex Addiction & Compulsive Sexual Behavior as Relational: Compulsive sexual behavior isn't just about sex—it's often about attachment, regulation, shame, and how we learned to cope with difficult emotions. For LGBTQ+ individuals, it's also entangled with identity development, internalized stigma, and navigating sex-positive spaces. We'll explore the relational and emotional roots of compulsive behavior, not just manage symptoms.

Trauma Lives in the Body and Relationships: Trauma changes how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. Using somatic, attachment-based, and psychodynamic approaches, we'll work with your nervous system to process traumatic experiences and build new ways of being in relationship.

Integration, Not Compartmentalization: You're not separate parts—professional, sexual, traumatized, queer. We'll work toward integration, helping you show up more fully in all areas of your life.

My Methods

  • Attachment-based and relational therapy

  • Trauma-informed and somatic approaches

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Psychodynamic and narrative therapy

  • CBT and DBT for skill-building

Culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming practices

Clients can expect a collaborative and thoughtful therapeutic relationship where curiosity, honesty, and compassion are central.
