Rouse Relational Wellness was started to increase access to culturally relevant, values-based sex and relationship therapy. My goal for Rouse is to help clients work through shame and anxiety related to sex and relationships.

I offer services through individual, relationship, and group therapy and provide sex therapy consultations and trainings to clinicians.

Note: I am currently only accepting clients for group therapy, couples intensives or consulting practice owners. Please scroll below for our wonderful clinicians at Rouse.

I aim to create a safe and supportive environment that empowers those I work with to explore their emotions and experiences and to work towards developing greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-confidence.

In my work as a couples and sex therapist, I find great passion in helping people decode their complicated emotions around their existence as a sexual being. My role as your couples therapist will oscillate among being the mediator for you and your partner(s), providing additional insight from an unbiased perspective, and suggesting different activities to break the cycle. I can resonate with the frustrations, feelings of hopelessness, and cyclical arguments that linger throughout the next day.

Why do we suffer? Because we fear. Rejection, loss, change, failure, humiliation, loneliness, abandonment. No, the world has not invented any new fears. How do we meet fear?  We run, fight, hide, blame, whine, push, control, cling, appease, numb ourselves, pity ourselves, play victim, play martyr, hoard security till we suffocate, lock parts of ourselves away and drag ourselves through our precious days for the sake of safety and appearances. No, we can never get enough of what we don’t really want.  And the wheel of suffering turns again.
