Reset your nervous system because, damn, you need it
Build comfort with platonic and supportive relationships with other men
You’ll leave the one-day retreat with a sense of accomplishment, curiosity, and community. This retreat will leave you with more questions than answers, and a chance to refine your skills to continue your work.

Philip Huang, AMFT
Philip joins Rouse bringing experience in working with sexual compulsion, queer men, and Asian Americans. Philip runs the Anxiously Intimate Group online on Tuesday nights.
Here's what Philip has to say about his work: "Why do we suffer? Because we fear. Rejection, loss, change, failure, humiliation, loneliness, abandonment. No, the world has not invented any new fears. How do we meet fear? We run, fight, hide, blame, whine, push, control, cling, appease, numb ourselves, pity ourselves, play victim, play martyr, hoard security till we suffocate, lock parts of ourselves away and drag ourselves through our precious days for the sake of safety and appearances. No, we can never get enough of what we don’t really want. And the wheel of suffering turns again."
Ryan Noble, LMFT
Ryan offers individual, couples, and group therapy addressing concerns around sex, relationships, and intimacy. Outside of Rouse, Ryan's work as an instructor in the Counseling Psychology grad program at USF keeps him updated on current insights and research around couples and sex therapy. Ryan runs the Anxiously Intimate queer men’s group in-person on Wednesday nights.
Hear more from Ryan:
"Everyone has the potential for growth, healing, and self-discovery. In my career, I have been fortunate to work with individuals, couples, and families from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. I have witnessed the resilience that each person has and how providing support can help people channel their unique strengths, resources, and insights. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment that empowers those I work with to explore their emotions and experiences and to work towards developing greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-confidence."
